An electric bicycle is a power-assisted bicycle also known as an "e-bike" with an added battery powered electric motor. It can also be driven like a bicycle without any power assist. As we understand that battery performance is critical to the experience of an Ebike user, Luyuan places batteries through a series of intensive tests on capacity, life, temperatures before assembled onto a Luyuan ebike. Luyuan charger features larger capacity (10%-15% leading others), longer useful life (20% longer), easier and effective maintenance compatible with BM charger. Exhausted batteries can be restored by adding liquid.

BM, Battery Maintenance charger optimizes the operation of a battery though a computer chip inside the charger to maximize battery life. It takes only one third of the average time to fully charge a normal ebike battery and is able to diagnose and repair batteries at the same time. Ordinary chargers tend to heat a battery to an unnecessary level while taking a longer time charging, resulted from time to time in damages to a battery. While Luyuan BM charger is able to diagnose and monitor the battery by using the CPU chip. Still, we would like to suggest to our customer to charge battery promptly and frequently.

It varies depending on the type of battery, how an user handles the charger, EABS use and road condition. According to feedback of our customer, our lead acid battery generally last for 18 month. We recommend our customers to buy the model with ampere meter, power saving function and BM charger, and not to leave the bike without power for long.

Electric bicycles are the most energy efficient vehicle. 1kw will drive the bike for 100 kilo meters – that’s about 25 – 50 cents in most country.

EABS, “Energy Absorption Braking System” is used to use motor as a brake to recharge the battery when the rider applies brake. Luyuan also uses double speed switch on the handlebar to select the optimum mode according to the road condition. One is power saving mode for flat road, the other one for steep hill or challenging road conditions. Luyuan has also developed an original technology of Negative Ammeter. When the needle points at the right side and shows the battery is being discharged. When the needle of the Ammeter points at left side to show battery is be charged by EABS.

Luyuan uses motors with CPU chips and high toque and effective power conversion, specially the SUPER POWER motor which can generally carry 200kg, climb 30°Slope from static state, can pull a family-car or small truck easily.
